Swimming Pool Liner Maintenance and Management Guide
Swimming Pool Liner Maintenance and Management Guide
① Maintenance
When walking or working in the pool, you must be barefoot or wear suitable shoes to prevent damage to the liner;
Minimize the contact between nails, screws, iron wire, concrete debris, tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other items and the liner;
It is strictly forbidden to punch holes in the liner;
Regularly check for foreign debris that can damage the liner and cause water leaks.
② Water quality requirements
It should comply with GB 37488 "Public Place Hygienic Indicators and Limit Requirements" and other relevant regulations;
It should be ensured that the water does not contain heavy metals such as iron ions, copper ions, or manganese ions, which will discolor the liner;
Keep the PH value in the range of 7.2 to 7.6, which will affect the comfort of swimmers and the effectiveness of chlorine disinfection. Beyond this range will reduce the effectiveness of chlorine, corrode the liner, and cause wrinkles.
③ Cleaning
When cleaning, avoid using sharp brushes such as wire brushes and pointed brushes to prevent damage to the liner;
Avoid using any abrasive cleaners or cleaning aids;
Use liner specific cleaners to remove waterlines or other contaminated areas;
Waterline cleaning was performed every seven days.
④ Disinfection
When using concentrated liquid disinfection products, they should be diluted before being put into the pool; to prevent excessive local concentration from bleaching the liner;
Use solid disinfection products such as disinfection tablets, first dissolve them in a bucket, filter them through a sieve, and then add them to the pool to prevent undissolved particles from settling at the bottom of the pool and causing bleaching of the liner.
⑤ Close the swimming pool
Thoroughly clean the swimming pool, but care should be taken not to damage the liner;
If chemicals were added before closing the pool, allow the pool water to circulate for several hours before closing the pool. Even liquid chlorine sanitizers, if not mixed well with pool water, can concentrate in deep water, causing liner bleaching;
An appropriate pool cover can be used for outdoor pools, which will effectively prevent the buildup of debris such as leaves, worms, etc. during closure, organic matter that may cause staining or bleaching of the liner.
