An in-ground swimming pool closing kit (for winterization) is not complete without pool cover water bags that go on top of the cover and weigh it down so that bitter winter winds do not mess with it. In the absence of water tubes for pool cover stabilization, the wind will make the cover shift and rise, possibly even removing it altogether, so the water inside can be ruined before the next season comes.

If you’re planning to leave something outside during the harsher months, this something must be strong. Our pool cover weights for in-ground pools are up to the challenge: each water tube is made of 0.4-mm-thick PVC (27 gauge; two times thicker than the standard 0.2 mm), and the innovative sealing technology makes it 100 % hermetic and leakproof to last all winter. In our in-ground pool winterizing kit, material quality is prioritized.

HIGHLY RESISTANT TO COLD.

If you live in a place where winters are bitter, your winterizing pool kit for inground pool protection needs to be able to survive low temperatures on top of keeping the cover fixed on the pool. Unlike simpler swimming pool weights, these water tubes will cope with the cold as bad as −10° F (−25° C). On the other end of their temperature resistance range, the tubes show impressive stats, too: they can handle the heat of up to 180° F (80° C).

EASY TO FILL AND SUPER STABLE!

We made a special effort to design wide valves where you insert a regular garden hose when you’re filling these pool water tubes (make sure you leave some extra room for the expansion of freezing water). Grippy leakproof twisting caps on these valves are way more convenient than the widespread snap-on caps on similar products. All five water bags for pool cover security come in dual-chamber design, so they’ll stay where they should without rolling off to the side.
